Trim the padding.
Keep the placement.
Turn one transparent sprite sheet into a trimmed atlas with original source bounds, a fixed pivot and a pixel reconstruction report. Send the layout first; we check whether trimming is useful before agreeing the job.
Discuss a trim brief ↗One original example. Every pixel preserved.
Watering Can Pour: 24 existing 64px frames. The reconstructed output matches the source sheet in RGBA, including transparent pixels. The compact atlas stores cropped frames; its JSON restores their positions inside the original cells.
Before: 384 × 256 · fixed-cell sheetAfter: 256 × 192 · Phaser trim metadata | One RGBA buffer | Source | Atlas |
|---|
| Pixels | 98,304 | 49,152 |
| Bytes by dimensions | 393,216 | 196,608 |
50% fewer pixels in this example. This is a dimension calculation, not measured total browser/GPU memory, faster downloads or higher FPS. A busy sheet may become larger after packing.

Independent example from our own existing free artwork, not a customer case study. This individual atlas has file-level verification; the separate free three-action Phaser player has desktop Chrome CANVAS playback checks.
One sheet / $25
- One PNG up to 2048 × 2048, using a 64 × 64 grid
- Up to 100 animation frames and one fixed pivot
- Trimmed PNG + Phaser JSON Hash atlas
- Supplied timing and pivot metadata retained
- Exact RGBA reconstruction and size report
- One consolidated revision within the brief
Target: two business days after agreed scope, complete inputs and payment. Wider batches and other cell sizes need a separate quote.
Send the layout first
Provide dimensions, columns, frame count, fixed pivot, existing timing metadata, target format and deadline. Use artwork you have permission to share. A redacted sample is enough to check fit.
We confirm feasibility, accepted files, delivery date and payment terms before ordering. No memory-saving percentage is promised for your sheet.
Send a sheet brief ↗Supported scope and verification
Nearest-filtered 64px pixel sprites, no scaling or rotation. Original PNG stays unchanged. Fully transparent frames and hidden RGB are retained. Static checks compare reconstructed RGBA pixels and metadata; engine-specific acceptance tests need an agreed scope.
This pilot covers export cleanup. New artwork, skeletal animation, scene integration, WebGL/mobile profiling and general performance fixes need a separate scope. Original separate sheets may be better when loading only a few actions.
